This tip how to open those damn beer bottles without twist tops.
First, if you don't have a bottle opener, just find a hard flat surface edge. (A table edge works great.) Put the rim of the bottle top on the edge, and just hit the top most edge of the bottle cap. (Oh by the way, this may damage the table surface, so do not try this on your wife's dinette set.) Next, you can use a lighter the same way. Place the rim of the bottle top on the edge of the lighter and pry the top off. The last method is to sew a small bottle opener to the inside of your jacket. (See picture)
