Event: 4th of July Fireworks, NYC
Date: 04/07/2002
Description: Went out on the East river to see the Macy's fireworks. Turns out the boat we were out was one of the 3 returning PLC from the D-day invasion (converted of course). To futher this, the boat was rented by the 1 Marine Div of Korean vets.
I think that was the reason we got the best (closest) viewing spot on the river!
