Other Notes: Hennaii Café AKA “Sheer Yakh” ice cream parlor.
I was lucky enough to make it there on its Grand Opening! Situated at the Galleria Mall, Hennaii provides awesome local ice cream. The Galleria also updated its security to include a full sally port and guards inside and out.
The only problem is the communication with the staff. We placed and order and were confused as it didn’t seem like they were getting it. Turns out there is a process to making the ice cream and provides a large wait from ordering to serving.
They serve the ice cream in handmade local pottery, which is a very nice touch!
The menu is very limited, to make matters worst, they also couldn’t make the Smoothies that were listed on it.
The portions varied from dish to dish as well. But they were more than happy to fix that when I pointed it out (of course I had the smallest amount of ice cream on my dish.
Overall, it’s just in time for the new spring weather; Hennaii Café has a promising future as the defacto standard for ice cream in Kabul!
