Other Notes: Located on Camp Eggers, I’m not sure if this qualifies as a “Kabul Restaurant.” But here is my review anyway. If you don’t like it, start your own website review column!

This place is nicely tucked into the main vendor area of Camp Eggers. It has about the same amount of atmosphere as any strip mall Thai place in the US (which is very little.)

The menus in this place deserve their own award, however. It’s a picture flipbook and it clearly shows you what you’ll be getting if you order that item! Denny’s has NOTHING on these menus. If there is anything wrong with them is that the portions in the menu were smaller then in real life. No big deal and it does make for a pleasant surprise when your food arrives.

They do make some dishes I never even heard of. I went with a favorite of mine, the Pad Thai noodles. It was just as good as in the states.

The prices aren’t bad considering that AAFES vendors on post normally charge a premium to their captive audience. I would go back in a heartbeat.
