Other Notes: The Living Room (formerly known as “The Lounge”,) is a very interesting place.

Just for full disclosure, this place started out on the wrong foot with me. Once we got inside (security is on par with most places here,) I asked the bartender, “Do you have Guinness?”
He answered, “Yes.”
I almost fell over! So I said, “How much do you have? I’ll take it all!”
He answered, “I was just joking, we don’t have it.”
I stated, “Is that how you want to die?” 8>)
I couldn’t believe it. A local totally had me going!

The Living Room soon started to redeem itself after that cruel, cruel joke. First, we were lead into a private room, set up like your Grandmother’s “sitting room.” (That is if your Grandmother is an old school Italian like mine was.)

We sat down; and we were given two menus, one menu for food and one for drinks. Again, this was a good sign.

However, the first 5 or so drinks I choose, they didn’t have, so I ended up with a Pineapple Daiquiri.
The waiter asked, “In a glass or a jug?”

Now, let me explain a little policy me and my buddies grew up with. Whenever posed with a question of size of food or drink, we automatically take the largest available. We also consider it an insult to be given anything but the largest size if the server knows us.
With that out of the way, of course my answer was “Jug.”

You can see below the picture of Daiquiri that I was given. (For the record, I drank the entire thing by myself, and still had a double scotch afterwards!)

When the food arrived, it was very good. I had the beef <insert unspellable French name here> and my buddy had a burger. Both were good and great portions.

After diner, we each ordered a “Strawberry Flan,” Which turned out to be strawberry shortcake. But it was still good.

After we finished eating, we moved out into the bar area for another drink. It started getting crowded, so we moved outside to the very well designed porch/patio area.

After the night was over, we left, full and happy. But even though it was 2130hrs on a Friday night (remember, Friday is like your Sunday night,) the place was packed and more people were coming it!

Overall, the Living Room is a great place to hang out and have some food and drinks.
