Where does that Nickname come from?
Well, it's a *LONG* story. (ha ha, get it?)
I have a bad habit on convincing people that things
are only this far away (hold you thumb and forefinger an "Inch"
apart). I’ve been known to ride to
Maine for lunch, or Maryland for dinner because I heard the shrimp was great!
I’ve made many people go miles and hours out of the way, just by telling them,
"It's only this far away!"
One of the people I did this to was Vera O. I
convinced her to ride about 4 hours to my place in Ocean City, MD from
Pennsylvania. We had to PASS near her house and I convinced her it was closer
to go to Ocean City than to her house. After the ride (which took most of the
night) she wanted to kill me, but settled for a bottle of VO and dubbing me,
"Inch."
